This picture shows an American soldier camped out on a Vietnam base playing a flute with a Vietnamese joyfully watching. The flute could belong to the American soldier as something he brought from home or maybe the Vietnamese soldier let him play it. This photo shows some kind of peace compared to the circumstances that were involved during this time. Playing intstruments were one of many things soldiers did on the down time I'm assuming.

ReplyDeleteI think this is a really cool picture because instead of most of the other pictures that show fear or anger this picture shows something that American soldiers did to pass their time and maybe bring some joy to their unjoyful times.
