The character I'm picking is Peewee. He was a major character and to me made the book better. Peewee made me laugh. At the beginning of the book when we first meet Peewee he is all tough and that continues throughout the book, but we see more sides of him also. Throughout the book he lightens up and he really stood out. All the other soldiers just blend in to me, except Perry and Peewee. Peewee helps Perry when he was sick and helped him when he was scared. We really see his true I guess you could say human side when he is making a doll for a woman's kids and then the baby has a mine inside and kills a soldier. It really affects Peewee and hurts him. He was so excited about the doll but then once the explosion happens he just stops. He doesn't express any emotion he's in shock. If he wasn't in Fallen Angels the book would be boring. You need a funny person who stands out.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Kelly, Peewee was my favorite character. Although he has a tough exterior and wants people to think that he's a big tough guy, he also has a sensitive side. I don't think the book would have been the same without Peewee. For me, he really made the story. He was the most realistic character, and I could definitely see a real person who is just like Peewee. He helps people get through hard times, and he makes the novel so much better. Overall, I think Peewee would be the perfect person to study for the assessment.
