Now that you have asked for and received clarification about the assignment, let's experiment with writing a thesis.
The revised assignment:
Demonstrate that literature (the stories we read, hear, and view) offers us warnings and/or advice about our future lives, especially about the challenges of change and the price we pay for progress.
Add to your thesis the three or more stories you are going to use for evidence to support your claim.
You can focus on warnings and advice, just warnings or just advice.
In your comments, write a thesis that includes the three or more stories you are using to support your claim about how literature offers us advice and/or warnings about our future lives.
