"A Sound of Thunder" was a science fiction short story, about
the danger of time travel. In class we got to watch the movie as well.
One major difference between the movie and story was the movie used props
for the technology. I feel this helped the audience by giving them a good
visual aid, for the technology that has not been invented yet. Some examples in
the movie was a path that defied gravity, and the time machine. Even
though there was differences, all in all the story and DVD were extremely alike
in many ways. For example the plot line was almost the same, and the
themes remained the same. I feel the theme was a decision that happens in
the past could greatly change the future.
I definitely agree with you Colbey. The story really gives the reader a feel for what the future could be like.
