Someone who has been successful, but has also assisted others would be considered chivalrous. This description fits Bill Gates. He has made billions from Microsoft, and has donated much of it back to benefit society.  He has given back $29,000,000,000 towards education and AIDS-prevention.  He is also the founder of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which acts worldwide to limit poverty and disease, better education, and make technology more available for students.

  1. Garrett,
I know that Bill and Melinda Gates have been very generous to schools in the US and around the world--and we all know that rich persons do not ahve to give anything away. Generosity is chivlarous, no doubt about it.
