As an author, please post about your experience creating a shield, crest or coat of arms.
Let us know:
- Whether you created your own shield or modified an existing design and why...
- What the symbols you selected are, what they mean and why you chose them ...
- What the colors or shapes involved mean...
Again, if you can't copy and paste, take a picture of it with a camera or phone, save it to your pictures and insert as any other graphic.
Then, comment on the designs of others.
In particular, please ask questions about design considerations that have not been explained.
I created my own shield on makeyourcoatofarms.com and the symbols i selected were arrows, a griffen, a celtic cross and morality shield. The arrows represent that i have diligence and archery takes hard work and determination. The griffen is a valiant soldier and a strong independent animal, and i am self reliant and depend on myself. I have a celtic cross because for starters im Irish and it represents faithfulness. Finally i have the morality shield because it says "Choose The Right" and thats how i live life, choose the right route and do the right things.
