Your SSR Choice: What are you reading? Why?
In this post, I ask you to comment:
What you are reading for SSR?
Why you have chosen that reading material?
If you would prefer to send your answer directly to me, email me at drgrm110@gmail.com .
The SSR reading book I chose was a book called world war II in photographs by David Boyle. I chose it because my greatgrandfather was in WWI and WWII. so i has always interested me.
The SSR book I chose to read is the first book of the Hunger Games. I chose to read that book because I always to wanted to read it and I want to read the book before I see the movie. I plan to read all three books and watch the movies.
Pictures are considered informational texts and reading photographs tells us so much that print cannot. Haven't you heard the saying, " A picture is worth a thousand wors" ? so true; enjoy, Rich.
Jenna, I read the Hunger Games last year and REALLY enjoyed the first book (I did read them all). I haven't seen the movie and I am afraid it won't be as good as the book. Has anyone read/seen Hunger Games? Should I see it?
Where is everyone else's comment? I am so curious about what you are reading and why--and if you have gotten into "the zone" with this book. If you haven't , you may need to switch...
Dr G, I saw the Hunger Games when it came out in theaters and i really enjoyed it. It was a great movie and great actors/actresses. I think you should watch it and tell me what one you think is better! I am reading PS, I Love You. I have never seen the movie so I really was curious what it was about. It is sad and happy at times, which I like. This book was a great choice!
