Beginning our 2014-2015 Odyssey--Welcome!

This blog is a place for our class to continue the communication before, during, and after class. You can do this anytime, anywhere from a smart phone or any desktop. Only members of the blog can write on the blog, but anyone with an address can visit the blog and see what you have written.

We will use this blog as a location for posting assignments, helpful links, some homework, some drafts and outlines, questions about reading and writing, and commenting on what we have seen, read, and written together.

Once we get going, you will be creating new posts and asking our class community to give you feedback on what you have written as whell as what you have asked them to read or view.

We will also learn how important it is to document the work we borrow from others and to fully credit the sources we have used to arrive at our own ideas.

Your task for your first blog visit is to look around, see what other sophomores have done, and to think about what we might do together on this blog, this year.

For your first comments:

1. Ask at least one question about blogging or using this blog.
2. Suggest one academic use for this blog as part of our class work.
